The new bookshelf in the Fellowship Hall is designed for us to share books with one another! Our intent is to populate the bookshelf with a variety of books; suggestions are books about Unitarian Universalism, all religions, social justice topics, poetry and banned books (not encouraging romance and mystery novels, nor magazines, for example). The book share system is easy – if you have a book to share, put it on the shelf, and if you want to take a book, feel free to take it home to read and return it (or not!). |
Congratulations to our graduates (and to their parents) – Ila Swier, Elliot Moreno and Tanyth Bass from high school, Elijah Lifson from culinary school, and Katie Fisher from CMU (belatedly)! Their accomplishments were celebrated on Sunday, June 11.
