The 2015 Mt. Pleasant Area CROP Hunger Walk is taking place this Sunday, October 11 at Island Park at 1:00 p.m. One of our youth, Josh Daniels, will be taking the lead in signing up people to walk on our behalf that Sunday as well as collecting our donations to help “end hunger one step at a time!” Please read more about CROP Hunger Walk here.
We are happy to report that Community Compassion Network in conjunction with the First Presbyterian Church will continue the William Ellis Brockman Infant Pantry. The items will be housed at the Presbyterian Church and starting Wednesday, November 12 will be open from 10 - 2 p.m. every Wednesday. Our fellowship will be collecting resources to donate to the Infant Pantry every first Sunday, beginning December 7. Tom Moffit will be in charge and you can contact him with any questions you might have.
