Join us on the first Thursday of the month for an uplifting service of songs, drumming, poetry, and reflection, beginning at 6 p.m. This month’s theme is Resilience. All are welcome: all ages, all genders, colors, beliefs.
Donations for the pizza dinner at 7pm are appreciated but not necessary. Imbolc, also known as Candlemas and Groundhog's Day, marks the middle of Winter and holds the promise of Spring. It is a festival of spiritual purification and dedication. We invite those of you who are interested in participating in this ritual to bring an item of food or drink to share at the potluck that follows the ceremony. We will gather at 6:30 pm.
We meet on 2nd Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. in the social hall of the UU Center, September through June. Bring a lunch and enjoy the discussion.
Olive Kitteridge is the highly acclaimed novel by Elizabeth Strout. The author intertwines the lives of the small town inhabitants of Crosby, Maine with her main character. As Olive mingles in their existence, it's left up to the reader to determine if she is a loathsome busybody or a redeeming soul. Join us on February 12th at 1:00 and make your case for Olive! We provide a safe and supportive place to explore womanhood and women’s history, discuss issues, get to know one another better, and have fun!! We meet on 4th Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the UU Center, January through June. Join us!
