Join us on this first Thursday of the month for an uplifting service of songs, drumming, poetry, and reflection, beginning at 7pm. This month’s theme is Compassion. All are welcome: all ages, all genders, colors, beliefs.
Bring your favorite beverage and join us for a virtual coffee house on the first Friday of the month at 7pm. We will follow an open mic format: anyone can share some music or poetry. Aim for 5 minutes for your song or poem. Signing up ahead of time is encouraged: contact Drew at minister.uufcm.org or 440-935-0129. Get ready for a groovy time!
We provide a safe and supportive place to explore womanhood and women’s history, discuss issues, get to know one another better, and have fun! This month the topic is 'Self care while trying to care for others', or for those of us who live alone, 'how does one manage in a time of crisis?' We meet on 4th Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. via Zoom. Click the Zoom invitation link, and you can sign on just like Sunday Service. Please join us!
Join Zoom Meeting Meeting ID: 798 7565 9476 Password: 094596 The May and June selection is Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. We are members of the human species homo sapiens and at one time were one of six human species on earth. How did we win dominance and become who we are today? In the next millennia, who will we become? Delve into our past and learn how it influenced our present. What is our possible future? We’ll meet on Wednesday, May 13 at 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Feel free to bring a lunch!
Join us for a group that combines discussion of the monthly theme (“Wisdom” for March) with time to check in and share about what is happening in our lives. This group creates an atmosphere of hearing each other with support, not judgement. We have a light lunch at 12:30 and meet until 2 p.m. on fourth Sundays.
